Earlier this week we have reported that a new unique arcade game called Mechanosaur Hijacks the Moon was going to be released soon on the App Store. The team indeed kept its promise, as the game is now available for download for free on the App Store.

In Mechanosaur Hijacks the Moon, developed by XperimentalZ Games, players have to make sure that no meteorite hits the Earth so that dinosaurs can continue living on the planet. To do so, players will have to control a mechanical dinosaur that has the ability to move the Moon around so that it can deflect dagerous meteorites. The Mechanosaur Hijacks the Moon premise isn’t revolutionary in any way, but it’s good enough to give players a reason to move the moon around and save dinosaurs. And since the game is now available for free, pretty much no one will complain if such premise has been used already in the past.

Mechanosaur Hijacks the Moon is now available for download for free on the App Store. The game is supported by ads but it’s possible to turn them off by purchasing an IAP which also gives players a boost in the game that will be quite helpful.
