Claim all the freebies and bonuses!

First and foremost, World of Kings just launched so there are a lot of promotional events going on right now. If you tap the Bonus icon from the top drop down menu, you can see stuff like your Login Gift, Sign-In Gift, Gear Level Gift, and more.

Check back once you have progress a bit through the game, as you will most likely have some goodies waiting for you.

We should also mention the Online Gift. If you are online and active in the game for a certain amount of time, you will be able to spin the Online Gift prize wheel. You can get a random assortment of helpful goodies, and you can spin it every ten minutes. Do not forget to do so!

Choose your talents to your liking!

Each class has three different talent trees that each focus on powering up a specific aspect of the character. Some trees might make you more tanky, while other trees make you deal more damage.

It is important to try to stick to one tree and focus on one aspect of your character – do not try to go for the “jack-of-all-trades” approach, as this will just make less effective than your party members.

For example, as a Paladin you will probably want to invest a lot of points into the Iron Guard tree, as this is the one that focuses on making you a lot tougher to take down. The Paladin’s primary job in a dungeon is to tank, so it only makes sense to go this route. You can also just choose the one that most players go for, as that is usually the best choice.

Upgrade your skills as soon as possible!

Skills, however, are more straightforward than talents. As long as you have the Energy Essence, you can upgrade skills to increase their potency and reduce their cooldown, essentially making them better in every way imaginable.

You need to be a certain level before you can upgrade them, but this is one of the easiest way to improve your character’s overall rating.

Work with your team!

You will come across side quests that ask you to queue for dungeons and play through them with a full team. You should know that auto play is disabled during dungeons, and for good reason because mistakes can cost you and your team!

Make sure that you are working with your team and supporting them. Play your role correctly – if you are a tank, you are leading the charge and holding enemies’ attention.

If you are a healer, you are healing up the tank whenever they take big damage and healing the team when things get tricky.

If you are DPS, you are doing your best to take down the enemies as fast as possible.

Progress through the story!

If your character is not geared enough to take on a certain dungeon, simply progress through the main story quest. World of Kings basically plays itself once you tap on the quest, as your character will move toward destinations on their own.

You level up and get new gear naturally as you play through the story quests, so this is a good way to power up without having to overcome challenging battles.

Choose the right pet for the job!

Initially you will start out with a Boloch as your first pet. These little guys do not offer too much in terms of stat boosts or skills, but they teach you how pets work.

Once you start unlocking more pets, make sure you pick one that compliments you the best. Pets are sort of like talents, as they will boost certain stats more than others.

Find higher rarity gear!

The game will prompt you if you find a piece of gear that is a direct upgrade to whatever you have currently equipped.

Your gear will determine your character’s rating, and this rating is what determines which dungeons you are suited for. In order to improve your rating, you will have to find lots of high rarity gear.

Sometimes, even if you have cleared a dungeon before, running it again may prove fruitful. You might find a new drop that you did not discover before, and it might be an upgrade to your old gear!
