Move Tutor

Where to Find the Move Tutor in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

Pokémon Legends: Arceus just released, and it’s already got a lot of people talking! The game is a fresh take on the age-old Pokémon formula of capturing Pokémon and becoming the Pokémon League Champion.

Of the many changes that the game has implemented, including changing the game setting from modern times all the way back to ancient Hisui (later Sinnoh), one of the major ones that players noticed was the suspicious departure of one Move Tutor that was extremely prominent in all of the previous games in the franchise.

This situation left players asking for the location of the Move Tutor. Where is he? Read on to find out!

Changes to the Move Tutor

Instead of making changes to the Move Tutor system, the game developers decided to scrap it altogether! Along with the Move Tutor system, the developers scrapped TM’s and HM’s too! This left players scratching their heads, wondering what to even do regarding this situation.

While this sounds like a bad thing, there is some good news for fans! Instead of the long, drawn out process of deleting undesirable moves and learning newer/older moves, things are done a little differently in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

How to learn/relearn moves

The formula in Pokémon Legends: Arceus changes the system fundamentally in such a way that there is no need for a Move Tutor anymore.

In previous games, Pokémon could only learn 4 moves at a time, and any other moves that they learned had to be forgotten to make room for new/relearned moves. In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Pokémon learn ALL THE MOVES they can. They have empty move slots which can be filled using any of the moves they have learned, at any time!

This eliminates the need for having a Move Tutor, as all the moves are accessible to Pokémon to be slotted and replaced as the player chooses and as the situation demands the change!
