Where to Catch Ditto in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Before you dust your Running Shoes off to go find your own weird pink gooey blob, there are a few preliminary requirements you need to fulfill:
- Be the Sinnoh region’s Pokemon Champion.
- Unlock the National Dex.
Thankfully, doing these are part of the game’s natural progression. First, you need to have beaten the Elite Four and Cynthia to become the Champion.
Then you need to head to Sandgem Town and talk to Professor Rowan after having seen all 151 regional Pokemon. Professor Oak then appears to hand you the National Dex upgrade.
Now, there are 2 locations where you can try your luck to encounter a Ditto:
Grand Underground
Ditto can be found here in the Stargleam Cavern and Dazzling Cave biomes.
Route 218
Ditto can also be obtained here, but only with the use of the PokeRadar. Activate the PokeRadar here and walk into the shaking patch of grass for a 20% chance to encounter a Ditto!
