The Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games introduce a totally new kind of monster known as the Paradox Pokémon. There is a chance that you will learn about them online, but you won’t see them in-game for quite some time. We are going to give away the identities of these Pokémon that are accessible after the main storyline of the game, as well as the basic notion of what they are about.

There are also some minor plot spoilers involving the Pokémon that appear on the box art for the game, as well as the tale of Path of Legends.

Without further ado, let’s get right into what we know about the Pokémon known as the Paradox!

Ancient and Future Pokemon

There are two distinct varieties of paradox Pokémon: those that originate from the past, and those that originate from the future. Ancient and Future Pokemon.

The Pokémon Scarlet set is the only one that has the Ancient Pokémon, whereas the Pokémon Violet set is the only one that contains the Future Pokémon.

The majority of the time-traveling Pokémon who have arrived in Paldea are being kept in Area Zero, which is located in the center of the Great Crater. After completing the game’s three primary storylines, players will be able to get entry to this location.

Paradox Pokemon

In spite of the fact that Paradox Pokémon can only be captured in the last sector of the game, you will run across two of them before then.

Koraidon (Scarlet) is the Ancient form of Cyclizar, while Miraidon (Violet) is the Future version of Cyclizar. Both Koraidon and Miraidon are classified as Paradox Pokémon.

Within the first hour of the game, you have encounters with these legendary Pokémon. You won’t be able to add these Pokémon to your dex until the main tale has been completed, however, so be patient.

The next time you come across a Paradox Pokémon, it will be throughout the course of the Path of Legends tale. We were shown the Pokémon known as the Quaking Earth Titan in one of the game’s previews, and whether or not you choose to play Scarlet or Violet will determine whether or not you encounter it in-game. Great Tusk will appear in your game if you are playing the Scarlet expansion. You will face Iron Treads if you are currently on the Violet tier.

Location

You may see a few Paradox Pokémon before you reach the last road, The Way Home, but you won’t be able to capture one until then. This route requires you to enter Area Zero through The Great Crater of Paldea. Screech Tail (Scarlet) and Iron Bundle (Grey) are the first wild Paradox Pokémon you’ll come across as you descend (Violet). The last Paradox Pokémon are unobtainable until the end credits have finished playing. Only in Area Zero can you find any of them.

The Pokémon known as the Paradox wander throughout Area Zero just as any other wild Pokémon would. They are not rare or powerful like Ultra Beasts or Legendaries. This indicates that you are free to capture an unlimited number of Paradox Pokémon. Run amok.

You can only have one of either Koraidon or Miraidon, which are both types of the Paradox Pokémon. Once you have defeated the game’s final boss in Pokémon Scarlet, Miraidon will be available to join your party. The same same thing takes place with Miraidon in Pokémon Violet.

All Paradox Pokemon

The following is a list of all of the Paradox Pokémon that may be discovered throughout the game. If you wish to finish your Pokédex, you will need to exchange with someone who has the opposite version of the game, either online or with a buddy who also has the game.
