FuRyu may have not been around for as long as some other JRPG studios have, but it did manage to make a name for itself by releasing plenty of excellent games like The Caligula Effect games and The Alliance Alive.

The studio’s latest title, MONARK, has made its debut last year in Japan on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation consoles, and PC, and, by all accounts, it is a very solid role-playing game. Something that has made the wait for the Western release even harder.

Thankfully, the wait is almost over. Here’s when MONARK releases in North America and Europe.

When is MONARK Coming Out?

MONARK will launch on February 22 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC, four months after the game released in Japan.

At launch, players will be able to purchase the game at retail or digitally, with the option of getting a limited edition that includes a Collector’s Box, The Artwork of MONARK hardcover art book, a soundtrack CD, a cloth poster and the Pieces of Ambition acrylic stand set. You can purchase the MONARK Limited Edition directly from publisher NISA in both North America and Europe.

In case you have never heard of MONARK, you can check out the trailer below to learn more about the next RPG from FuRyu. Or, you could download the playable demo to experience the entirety of the game’s first chapter, and learn for yourself with some hands-on time if MONARK is the game for you.
