Cookie Run: Kingdom is bringing us a new update very soon, just in time for Halloween. Fans of the spooky season and Cookie Run: Kingdom will be pleased to hear that, along with a brand new Cookie, there will be costumes for the other Cookies! These skins will mostly be Halloween-themed, and available for many of the Cookies.
What Will the New Skins Look Like?
Many of the new skins will look like Halloween costumes: witch, devil, ghost, pumpkin, etc., while others are just a change of color. Some have an autumnal vibe going on, such as Herb turning brown and orange. They come in a variety of rarities just like the Cookies—common, rare, and epic. The epic costumes are the most impressive, and many fans will be excited to get hold of them, for sure.

Fans are already discussing how these costumes will be obtained: will they be in an item shop, or be won through a gacha? There is speculation that they will indeed be won through a gacha using a new currency, and one that is currently in Cookie Run: Ovenbreak—Rainbow Cubes. At least we won’t have to spend our precious blue crystals on them!
There is also speculation as to whether these skins will come with in-game benefits and boosts. It seems right now that they are purely cosmetic and won’t add anything to gameplay except for a cute and spooky aesthetic. If we hear any different, we will let you know!
When Will the New Skins Arrive?
The new Cookie costumes will arrive with the Halloween Event on October 28, 2021. They come as part of the whole Halloween Event package alongside Pumpkin Pie Cookie.
