What is the Fastest Way to Raise Friendships in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is a role-playing video game developed and published by Jam City under license from Portkey Games. The game is set in the Wizarding World and based on the Harry Potter novels written by J.K. Rowling.

The game was released for Android and iOS on April 25, 2018. Players praised its free-roam settings throughout Hogwarts with an underlying original plot looming in the background. There are a lot of entertaining features added in between the main story to make the game more engaging for players.

One of the key features that display advanced character interactions in Hogwarts Mystery is Friendship.

Friendship

In Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, as the story progresses, players will come across a number of different characters they can befriend. There are different ways by which players can interact with these characters daily and the progress is tracked by a Friendship Level meter for every interactable character.

This is tied to a player’s Friendship Level with specific characters, which can be increased by completing both story quests and friendship quests for those characters. Leveling up a Friendship Level will not only give players a variety of rewards but also provide them with more interactions during story conversations with those characters throughout the story.

Raising Friendship Levels

Friendship Levels are an indicator of how close the main character is with the characters they can befriend.

There are a total of 10 Friendship Levels, each providing players with varying rewards. The fastest way of increasing Friendship Levels are by performing any of these four activities:

• Play Gobstones (Lower Floor – West, Courtyard) – Unlocks at Y1Ch4
• Meal with a Friend (Lower Floor – West, Great Hall) – Unlocks at Y1Ch7
• Drink Butterbeer (Hogsmeade – Three Broomsticks) – Unlocks at Y3Ch9
• Study with a Friend (Lower Floor – East, Library) – Unlocks at Y3Ch1

Doing any of these activities will make the player answer four questions. Each correct answer will provide players with more experience for progress towards the Friendship Levels.

As a player’s Friendship Level increases, so do the rewards. Finally, once the Friendship Level meter is maxed out, there is a static amount of experience required for recurring Friendship Levels with random rewards.
