Hype Points in Fortnite are special points that you will need to earn to climb up in different leagues. You are able to obtain these points by playing in Arena playlists. There are a few leagues that divide players by the number of their Hype Points. The bigger the number, the higher you will climb up in these leagues.

There are two ways to earn Hype Points if Fortnite. The first one is to simply eliminate opponents. You will receive a certain amount of points for each kill you make. The more players you’ve defeated, the more points you get. However, the main way to obtain Hype Points is to simply survive the match. If you reach at least the top 25 players, you will receive a huge amount of Hype Points. So, don’t chase for free kills and try to stay alive for as long as you can.
