The Steam version is free to play – in fact, you can jump into it right now on the Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge Steam page. According to the developers, the game already has all of the core features in place. It’s released as Early Access to ensure the game’s foundation is solid enough for future social features like Alliances.

While the mobile version of Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge isn’t yet available on mobile platforms, eager players can pre-register in anticipation of the upcoming release. Just like the Steam version, the game is free with in-app purchases. Android users can pre-register through the Google Play Store, while iOS users have the appropriate pre-order version on the App Store.

The particularly exciting news is that Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge is being built for cross-platform compatibility from the get-go. In other words, if you’ve already started playing through Steam Early Access, you’ll be able to transfer your progress to the mobile version. Plus, opting for pre-registration on either Android or iOS will grant you 10 booster packs to boost your early game experience.

Best of all, pre-registered players won’t have to wait for too long before accessing the game on their mobile devices. Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge will officially come out on mobile on November 2. While this is great news, it also means there’s little time to grab that pre-registration bonus and the current pre-sale bundles.

New expansions for the Warhammer universe are always a pleasant surprise. With Warpforge coming to mobile, players will get to experience the 41st century right wherever they go, and we’re anxious to see how the game pans out.
