We are happy to see Tony Hawk back in the gaming business once again, and we are more than ready to jump in. Let’s get started with our Tony Hawk’s Skate Jam cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!

Memorize the token locations!

When doing career levels, you will always have two objective that involve finding the hidden tokens somewhere in the level. The first set is the H-A-W-K letters. These letters are always highlighted in a blue glow, so keep an eye out for that. The second set are the hidden hawks, which shine a bright yellow.

These tokens are always in the fixed locations, so even if you do not find them all in time, you can simply retry the level and go back to where you found the previous ones. Do this over and over again until you memorize all of the token locations!

Get a board of each type!

Your starting board is good enough to use in all categories of skate, but in the long run you are going to want to invest in the specialized boards. Remember that Street boards are good for grinding, Park boards are good for general jump tricks, and Vert boards are good for half-pipe tricks. If you really want to score high, you are going to specialize in one of these boards. Try them all!

Chain tricks together!

The key to getting huge scores in Tony Hawk’s Skate Jam are chaining your tricks together. If you ollie or flip then quick chain it into another trick, you will start a combo. However, if you really want the big points, try to grind in between your tricks. Not only will you increase your multiplier by one, but the grind points will rack up FAST with all of those multipliers.

Here’s a little trick: you can jump while grinding by sliding your finger slightly to the right. Charge it up as usual, then let go to jump high. You usually get enough to air to ollie or get some other fast trick in.

This increases your combo multiplier and it sends you back onto to the rail to get more points. The timing with this is really tricky, so do not worry if you cannot get it down the first couple of tries.

Complete the Daily Quests!

You get a tiny bit of money upon completing a run, but it is barely anything. To truly get some money, you will need to complete the daily quests. They are not too bad, as they range from activities like grinding a certain distance or racking up a specific amount of points.

Completing each quest nets you about 100-300 cash, and while that does not seem like a lot it is your best way to reliably get more money.

Keep competing in Seasons!

Seasons in Tony Hawk’s Skate Jam work like this: when you win a Skate Jam, you will gain points based on your placement. These points are tallied up when the season is over, and seasons usually only last about a day or two. The more points you have, the better the reward!

You may be thinking early on that the 700$ entry fee is pretty harsh, and we agree, it is! But, if you manage to do well, you can get up to 25,000$ when the season is over! You are playing the long game here basically, so make sure you do well in Skate Jams!

That’s all for Tony Hawk’s Skate Jam! If you have any other tips or tricks to share, let us know in the comments below!
