The Harvest Moon series is one of the longest running series still available today, and the latest entry in the series, Harvest Moon: Light of Hope, finally made its way onto mobile platforms.

In Harvest Moon: Light of Hope, players will take control of a boy or a girl as they have to restore a ruined town back to glory. This wasn’t what the characters had in mind before the start of the game, however, as, while they were looking for a new land and new possibilities, a storm brought them to the most run-down place that could be found. The town is now deserted, but with hard work, it’s possible to restore it to its former glory.

Harvest Moon: Light of Hope plays like your typical Harvest Moon game. During the course of the game, players will do plenty of planting and crops harvesting, sell them to get funds to restore the town.

Other of the series’ staples, like changing seasons, festivities and romancing are also present in full force, so you will be getting the full Harvest Moon: Light of Hope experience, the same one that’s available on other formats.

Harvest Moon: Light of Hope isn’t the first entry in the series to get released on mobile platforms.

The first one, Harvest Moon: Frantic Farming, wasn’t a real Harvest Moon game, while the second, Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories, was more in line with the rest of the series.

Harvest Moon: Light of Hope may not be the most complex entry in the series, but there’s still plenty of fun to be had, especially if you have played any of the previous mobile games.

Harvest Moon: Light of Hope is now out on the App Store and Google Play Store.
