So if you like everything cute, as well as a challenge in match-three (more like match-at-least-two in this case) kinda games, then you’re in the right place, because this game has everything you might imagine: cuteness, challenging stages and a ton of decorating to be done.

But enough with the praising of the game (because honestly speaking, it’s kinda got me hooked since the first minute!) – you are here for the Sweet Escapes tips and tricks, so why don’t we dive right into them?

Match as much as you can!

The game follows a kind of match three games, but with a twist – it’s enough to have two of the same color blocks next to each other in order to have a match! This makes the game pretty easy on paper, but when it comes to putting that into practice, it’s a little more complicated than that!

I suggest that you tap on the blocks which have the most colors around, because those will give you better boosts and more points. You should be looking for the 7+ block clutters, because those will give the best boosts!

Either way, just try to match as many blocks as you can while still following the level requirements and not exceeding the movements! The stages will end when you have reached the objective for that stage, or if you ran out of moves before completing it!

Do your special moves before the objective is completed

You should try to tap on all the special blocks before you actually complete the level requirements, because otherwise they will not open and will not give you any bonuses. The thing which is unique in this game, unlike in others, is that once you completed the objective of the level, you will not continue any further, no matter if you have 10 special blocks ready to roll.

That’s why you should try to make as many special blocks in the first place, and use them! This is a great way to complete the level much easier, and to be determined to create as many special blocks as possible!

Complete the in-game days!

The in-game days are basically your tasks, or your missions. You will have a few tasks that you can complete in order to complete the in-game days, and claim free gifts and free unlimited lives for some time.

These missions will mostly revolve around collecting stars and decorating, opening shops and such. The stars will be received from completing the in-game levels, so make sure you try to complete as many as you can, if you want to collect a ton of boosters for free.

Watch an ad for free boosters!

Right before starting a new stage, sometimes you will see an option which gives you the chance to watch a short ad in order to claim a free random booster! Make sure you do this whenever you see the option available (if you don’t mind watching ads that is), because it’s definitely worth it, since it’s free and it will take at most 30 seconds.

Connect your account to Facebook for freebies!

If you have a Facebook account, you can link your account to the game in order to be able to save your progress on multiple devices, but also to claim great free rewards! These free rewards are unlimited lives for some time, and a whopping 1250 Coins!

That is a great reward, especially for the coins (if you don’t really need the unlimited lives), because they will come in handy if you want to purchase stuff or re-decorate your shops!

Invite more friends to claim free lives and help you decorate!

In the bottom left side of the screen you will see your To-Do list. Tap on it, and go to the “Friends” tab, and there you will see the “Invite Friends” option. If you connected your account to Facebook, you will be able to invite your friends through Facebook, but if you haven’t, then don’t worry – you can still invite friends through E-mail or Text!

The more friends you invite, the better! When you have 10 friends in your list, you will receive the first free decoration, so it’s definitely helpful to have a handful of friends around! Also, you will be able to send and receive health from them (in the “Inbox” tab), so it’s not only for the decor, it’s also helpful!

Change your decor at any time

Whenever you have unlocked a new decoration, you can choose to change it at any time. So no matter if you picked one that you don’t like, or you simply want to change them around from time to time, you can do it without worries!

It will cost Coins, but that’s about it! It’s not even that expensive, so make sure you decorate everything however you like, and show off your designer skills!

Don’t be afraid to use the Boosters!

The Boosters are there with a specific reason – to use them when you are dealing with a tough level. I suggest that if you are having troubles passing a certain stage, you don’t back away from using them, because you will acquire new ones whenever you complete enough missions, so it’s not difficult to get them at all!

Decide how you want to play!

What I mean by this, is the way that you will go about the missions and stages. I personally prefer to complete several game stages and save around 10-20 stars, before I go ahead and complete the missions one by one, because that way I get to enjoy the decorations more and match them better.

Also, it feels like it’s easier to go about the game by doing this, since the motivation comes much easier to me, but you can also complete just enough levels to get stars and complete the current tasks, and then go complete stages again. It’s all a matter of how you like to play the game better!
