Boolitaire, the latest game from indie developer Martin Knopf, puts a chillingly twist on the popular card game that has withstood the test of time. Knopf’s previous games like VMOD and AMOEBAE are minimalistic games that are deceivingly simple.

Such is the case with Boolitaire, a new version of the classic card game with RPG elements added in for good measure. You are trapped in a haunted castle, and the only way out is to survive a full deck of 54 cards.

The objective of Boolitaire remains the same: you must construct a deck of each suit with all cards… but there’s a catch. Every time you play a card, your stats will change, and you need to manage them wisely.

You have shields and health, and should you lose all of your health, your journey will come to an end. Careful planning is required if you want to survive the night!

Boolitaire is now available for 1.99 USD on the App store.
