If you like board games, there’s a good chance you know about Legions of Steel. And if you like this game, you will be pleased to know that a strategy game based on it has been released on the App Store for iPad in the past few hours.
The iPad version of Legions of Steel is a turn based strategy game where players will join the Leage of Aliens and the United Nations of Earth to stop the Empire of Machines. While the overall premise seems to suggest that players will be involved in the actual war, Legions of Steel will make them to focus on another different aspect of the war, leading troops in the underground production labs of the Empire of Machines. The game seems rather unforgiving so players will have to be extra careful when moving around, attacking enemies and facilities and finding cover from enemy fire.
Legions of Steel sports two single player campaigns as well as a Skirmish option and a multiplayer system that allows players to partake in single matches and even an online tournament.
Legions of Steel is now available for purchase on the App Store for the price of $9.99. The game is currently available on for iPad.
