As you walk up the stairs in Stairway to Heaven by Lion Studios, you will reach special steps where you will trigger one of the few available minigames. Usually, this means answering a multiple-answer question where you have to find the right answer.

If you do so, you will move forward a bunch of steps and also earn some points in the stat related to the question you completed (wisdom, honesty and kindness). If you make a wrong choice, you will be taken back a few steps and lose points in the given area.

The problem is that in many cases, it won’t be very obvious what the “right” choice is because they could all seem right. However, think that your goal is that of going to heaven, so you will always have to be the good guy (or girl) and do the right thing.

Sure, it might sound fun to take a bribe and let your big company’s accountant earn some money on the side, but that’s not the right thing to do if you want to go to heaven. So always have this in mind when playing the game: what would Jesus do?

Or something along the lines… Always be good and make the choices that seem right!

You can still live the life any way you want to

Of course, this is a game. You can live any type of life you want and give just the answers that you feel like giving. Be the bad character if you want. There isn’t a lot to lose, you will still get to heaven, but you will have less money to spend there.

Because, yes, apparently even there you will have to spend coins (most of which you can get through watching ads) on decorating. Strange stuff for sure!

Once you complete a stage in you life (baby, child, adult and so on) you can get some money as a reward depending on how well you did and how many stats you have earned along the way. Of course, in order to do so you will have to watch an ad. But, hey, you will have more money to spend in Heaven!

It goes without saying that if you made some pretty poor choices and you only have a few money earned, there’s little sense in wasting time on an ad to grab the coins. Just move forward and make better choices in life. Or not, it’s up to you!

The thing is that ultimately it won’t matter at all if you have 5 Honesty or 500. Just the potential income is influenced by this and not the end game.

Cheat to get the correct answers to your Wisdom questions

While for most of the questions, you have to use your intuition to guess the correct answer – which is sometimes NOT what the majority is voting – when it comes to Wisdom questions, it’s easy to cheat here.

Simply switch over to a new tab and search on Google for the answer to your question. These are usually very easy to find and it only takes seconds. This way, you will end up the wisest person that ever was… until you start a new life, that is and match your record once more.

Take all the keys and money you find along the way

As you go up the stairs, you will run into some keys. These are valuable if you want to unlock extra characters to play as – like the billionaire or celebrity. These are useful for adding some variety to your gameplay. Otherwise, you’ll have to answer the same questions over and over again, which gets old really fast.

You will also have all sorts of bubbles floating around: these allow you to get some extra money, which is something you should take advantage of, especially if you really want to buy all the available decorations in heaven.

You can watch (extra) ads to get various goodies

As if it’s not enough that the game throws ads at you like confetti at a party, you can opt to watch a ton by yourself.

Basically, everything good in this game (except for the funny questions) requires you to watch an ad. Do you want those rewards from the stage you completed? Watch an ad! Do you want an extra decoration? Watch and ad! Do you want to avoid losing 300 coins? Watch and ad.

And so on. Everything in this game requires watching ads and unfortunately there is no IAP for disabling them. At least not the moment of writing this guide. This shows that the road to heaven is indeed paved with all sorts of advertisements…

How to disable ads?

When you decide that enough is enough and you want to focus on actually playing the game and not spending more time watching ads than playing, you can cheat your way into disabling the ads.

The developers probably understood that it can get frustrating, so they decided to let you play the game without internet. Yes, there is no requirement to be always online when playing Stairway to Heaven on mobile.

And if you’re not online, you are not seeing ads. So simply force quit the game, go onto airplane mode or just turn off your WiFi and/or mobile internet and restart the game. You will now be able to play it without any ads.
