Space Pioneer Cheats: Tips & Strategy Guide

Space Pioneer is a pretty addicting game, and we were pleasantly with how fun the simple combat system is. But enough of that, there’s aliens to blast! Let’s get started with our Space Pioneer cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!

Stay on the move!

The action in Space Pioneer can get so frantic that you may not even see where you’re getting attacked from. It’s okay, though! As long as you’re staying on the move, you’re always reducing the amount of damage you take.

Don’t stay in one place for too long and keep circle-strafing to dodge any kind of projectiles that are heading towards your way.

Use the right equipment for events!

The Event missions are special fixed missions that change every couple of hours. You should fully complete these as they reward you with a chest that contains 30 tokens in them, which is great for upgrading your arsenal. These missions are a bit challenging however, so make sure that you’re prepared!

To help even the odds, each event mission has special bonuses for specific weapons. Check the info panel to see what damage bonuses are active, and change your gear accordingly.

For example, one of the Horde event missions right now gives the Tesla Gun 100% more damage and the Strafe gear 300% more damage. Using the right equipment can make the missions a lot easier!

Complete all of the base buildings!

Once you gain access to the base, you’re given free reign over it. Before you start upgrading any of the existing buildings, be sure to build all of the base level buildings first.

A lot of them are important, like the Coins Mint which increases the coin drop rate during missions, and the Crystals Storage which does exactly what it sounds like.

You will need a lot of crystals to upgrade your buildings, so be sure to check into the game every now and then, as the Crystals Generator will create crystals for you over time. Depending on how upgraded your storage is, you may have to check in more frequently.

But it’s extremely important to upgrade existing buildings first, and upgrade the base itself afterwards in order to remain competitive.

Complete the side objectives!

Certain missions will have optional side objectives, marked by green indicators. Completing these objectives will reward you with bonus coins or crystals.

For example, one of the most common side objectives is to find three crystal clusters hidden somewhere on the map. Each cluster will provide you with 3-5 crystals, so they’re great for helping you expand your base.

Upgrade Cooldown!

Out of all of the early skills, Cooldown Reduction is probably the most important. Each upgrade to it adds 5% more reduction to your skills.

Combine this will powerful skills and you can be near-invincible! Health Pack’s base cool down is around 30 seconds, but if you upgrade it and Cooldown Reduction, you can get it to almost 15 seconds.

Upgrade the best Weapons

Focus on upgrading your favorite weapons first. Most likely, you will want to focus on the automatic weapons, which are the best in the game.

So invest in upgrading the the Assault Rifle or Tesla Gun in order to always have an advantage over your opponents – and don’t focus too much on other weapon types unless you are certain you’re going to use them!

Grind on the stages

This game encourages grinding, so completing the same stages over and over again would be a smart move, as this way you will get additional chests with more rewards: and since you’ve already beaten a missions, you know you can do so again.

The same things goes for Boss stages, which can prove to be even more important, as they reward you Weapon Chests. So depending on what you’d like to receive as a reward first, switch your focus from the boss stages to the regular ones.

Top yourself off with Health Pack!

Health Pack is one of the three starting gear options, and we highly recommend keeping it for a while.

Health Pack provides you with a slow regeneration over time, so be sure not to use it when you’re barely clinging onto life. Instead, be preemptive and use it to top yourself off – don’t save it for emergencies, as it won’t heal you fast enough!
