Like every other Wisp in Sonic Colors: Ultimate, the Yellow Wisps are very social, bright, and energetic, happily providing their powers happily to those in need. They are also very fond of earth and water, a trait that is fully reflected in the special powers they grant Sonic.
Yellow Wisps grant Sonic the Yellow Drill power, which allows the blue hedgehog to drill underground and go through water like a torpedo. While this power is very useful, there is a dangerous downside you should be aware of: if you’re drilling under the ground, and the power runs out, you will lose a life. As such, always make sure you have a good idea of where you have to go before start drilling and risk losing a life.
