If you haven’t already noticed, Song of Horror does spooky atmosphere really well, and exploring the mansion can be extremely unsettling. If you need a boost of bravery, be sure to get some tips on playing scary games.

Before you can restore power, you need to clean up the water puddle in the kitchen and unlock the tool box in the garage to get the Fuses. Once you have the Master Key and the Fuses, you can head down into the basement.

At the very back of the basement lies the fuse box. Right away you can see some puzzle game shenanigans going on—each fuse is marked with a number, and there are some color-coded wires on the four fuse slots. On top of that, there are three fuses on the left that read 25A, 50A, 30A, from left to right.

There are four slots for the new fuses, and three boxes above them. It seems that each of the four fuse slots connect to one or several of the three boxes above. This should mean that the three boxes above read 25, 50, and 30, but we don’t know which one is which.

Why do we think that? Well, the new fuses can add up to each of the three values written on the old fuses. So, all we need to do is match the correct fuses to the boxes to get up to the designated amps.

To start working this out, let’s look at what we’re working with: 10, 15, 20, and 25. That leaves us with these combinations:

  • 10 + 15 = 25
  • 10 + 15 + 25 = 50
  • 10 + 20 = 30

Now, let’s carefully examine those wires. The green wire in the bottom right slot is connected to all three boxes, so by process of elimination, that means that the bottom right slot has to have the 10A fuse in it, since 10 is required in all three calculations.

You can probably work out the remaining three slots from here. Just remember to ignore the yellow and black striped wire, as that’s the output wire. If you need some help, the top right slot has two red wires, and both left slots have one wire each.

We know for sure that the 10A and 15A fuses belong in the right slots, so it just comes down to the two left slots. We’ve got the 25A and 20A fuses left, so you can just try them in both slots and if it doesn’t work, switch them around. The final solution should look like this:

And with that, you’ve restored power to the Husher mansion. You can now leave the basement, but don’t get too comfy, for the worse is yet to come!
