Shining Nikki: How to Obtain and Apply Makeup

Shining Nikki is a whole world of beauty to get lost in, full of amazing fashion with an immersive and exciting story. Stylists can dress Nikki in the finest clothes and fabulous hairstyles to send her into a styling battle, and you can also add makeup to her styling power!

Players may have noticed when they first started playing that there is an option for using makeup while getting Nikki ready for a styling battle but there is no makeup to be bought from the Store. So how do stylists obtain makeup to apply for Nikki in the dressing room?

First thing to do is to join a Guild where you can join forces with other stylists and earn Guild Coins by attending Guild Parties, doing Secret Commissions, and donating to the Guild. You can then spend these coins on Makeup Studies within the Guild.

Spend the Guild Coins on Makeup Studies to earn lipsticks, foundations, eyelashes, and eyebrows. As you study each lesson you can earn more items of makeup and, just like studying in the real world, the more you study, the better makeup you can achieve!

Once you have studied and earned the item, you can then use those items in the dressing room before a big battle.

The styling power you gain from your Makeup Studies will automatically be added to Nikki’s Styling Power so there is no need to worry about using any particular makeup. Just style her as you wish!
