Free run through colorful environments in Run Race 3D, a 2D platforming racing game. You will go up against three other opponents in a race to see who finishes first, but only the quickest on their feet will make it to the end – the person in last is eliminated at the end of each lap! Our Run Race 3D cheats and tips will ensure that does not happen to you!
Run Race 3D is all about knowing the map layout and being able to time your jumps well. So, let’s get started with our Run Race 3D cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!
Double jump to get more air!
If you are jumping from the ground, you can jump a second time mid-air. This will allow you to reach greater heights and usually get ahead of your opponents. This is really helpful on certain maps where you need to do a lot of wall jumping, and starting your jump from a higher angle will get you to the top faster.
Keep playing to unlock new maps!
Your level dictates what maps you get to play, and in order to unlock new maps, you will need to rise up in ranks. Every time you win a race, you will fill up your rank meter. When it is full, you will advance to the next rank!
Each rank level has its own criteria you need to fulfill, and generally the higher rank you are the more races you will need to win in order to reach the next rank.
Watch out for the level mechanics!
Some maps will have special mechanics that you will need to pay attention to. Sometimes you may find a springboard in the ground – try jumping on it and it will launch you up to a new route of map, usually a much faster one.
Another example is the ropeline, where you can grab onto it and it will zip you across a large portion of the level. Be sure to pay attention to the level-specific gimmicks and mechanics, as they will open the way to shortcuts.
Grab all the coins in the bonus game!
Every so often whenever you rank up, you will be able to play the bonus game. Bonus games simply take the previous rank map, then litter it with coins. There is no time limit, so take your time and grab as many coins as you can.
You will not obviously be able to get them all as you cannot force yourself to go backwards, but you can typically get all of the ones that are near walls as you can wall jump back and forth.
Always take the shorter route!
When you get to the higher ranks, you will start to play on maps that have multiple paths. While it may not seem like it at first, there is always one path that will take you to the goal faster than the others.
If the route you take seems to put you behind the others, try taking the other one the next attempt – you may be surprised!
