Role Playing Game Once Upon A Tile Revealed, Launching Next Year On The App Store

A brand new role playing game is currently in development for iOS devices, a game that will combine some unique features to create a rather unusual experience.

The new game is called Once Upon A Tile and it’s being developed by Chestnut Games, the team behind the puzzle game Fallin Love and a few titles. The new game from the team doesn’t really play like their previous puzzle game but it still retains some features that are typical of the genre, such as the tile placing during exploration, which will force players to think how to place the tiles to explore the many locations included in the game. During exploration, players will find treasures but also encounter enemies and this is where the game plays more like a traditional role playing game, with players having to fight enemies in a system that closely resembles the Final Fantasy series classic Active Time Battle system. The player controlled character also gains new abilities and skills that will make fighting stronger enemies easier.
