Q*bert Returns in a New Mobile Adventure

This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

If time has proven one thing, it is that there is always a place on the mobile market for classic arcade favorites. Pac-Man, Galaga, Frogger… you name it, and there is probably a mobile version of it somewhere.

Today, Q*bert is joining the mobile ranks. Brought to us by Sony Pictures Television, Q*bert is the classic arcade experience now available in the palm of your hand. That’s right – the full isometric platforming gameplay that you know and love is back!

Funnily enough, this is not the first time that Q*bert was remade for mobile platforms. The old version seems to be lost to time though, but now Sony stepped in and made sure no one forgot about Q*bert.

Q*bert starts each level at the top of a isometric pyramid. He can only jump diagonally, so you have to watch your step as you collect coins and avoid enemies. Your goal is to outsmart the enemies and change all of the tiles to your color.

All of the coins you collect on your quest can be used to unlock special outfits for Q*bert. There are special characters too! Want to give Q*bert a funny looking hat? Now is your chance!

Q*bert is available now on the App Store and Google Play Store.
