Pokemon Go Ultra Unlock Space Event Guide: Increased Spawns, Raids, and More

Pokemon Go Ultra Unlock was brought in for the 2021 Pokemon Go Fest. Trainers purchase a ticket to the Go Fest, allowing them access to the Global Challenge Arena, joining other trainers to complete challenges every hour of the event. Once trainers have completed 8 of the challenges 1 Ultra Unlock is granted- complete all 24 and all three Ultra Unlocks are granted- giving trainers the opportunity to even more fun over the following weeks!

Three Ultra Unlocks are underway- the first (Time) occurred July 23 to August 3. The second (Space) runs between August 6 to August 17, and the third Sword and Shield) runs between August 20 to August 31st.

Field Research for Ultra Unlock Part 2

These missions appear just like any other field research when you spin Pokestops or at Gyms. They appear randomly but have a higher chance of appearing than regular field research quests.

• Catch 15 Pokemon (Staryu encounter: shiny chance)
• Make 5 nice curveball throws (Lunatone or Staryu encounter: shiny chance)
• Make 7 great curveball throws (Shellos encounter: random West or East chance)
• Spin 10 Pokestops or Gyms (10x Pokeball)
• Transfer 5 Pokemon (3x Pinap Berries)
