Orc Dungeon is all about being prepared, knowing your gear, and finally having a bit of old fashioned luck on your side. Let’s get started with our Orc Dungeon cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!

Always assign a task to Orcky!

In addition to climbing the dungeon floors and battling fearsome foes, Orcky can go do optional tasks to get some goodies in return. They can be accessed by tapping the hammer icon from the status screen.

The first task is weight-lifting. Orcky can train for a couple of minutes to gain a small amount of experience. This is the one you should be doing constantly, as level ups are very important in this game.

The second task is bodyguarding. You will gain some coins after several minutes. The coin payout is a little low, so you will need to be a bodyguard a lot in order to make a substantial amount of money.

The third task is raiding. A successful raid will reward you with two precious gems, the premium currency of Orc Dungeon. However, raiding takes 12 hours to complete, which is half the day! If you will not be playing the game for a while, be sure to set a raid up.

The fourth and final task is is arm-wrestling. Orcky will arm wrestle for an hour, and he will come back with a free common chest after he is done. This is helpful if you are looking for some free gear to use for upgrading purposes.

Always check a weapon or shield’s dice rolls!

Simply equipping the highest rarity gear you have and calling it a day sounds like a good idea, but there is a bit more to it here than usual. The most important thing when considering your gear options are the dice rolls. You can see every single roll a weapon or shield needs in order to activate, and you can use this to plan accordingly.

Do you want to go high risk high reward with your best gear that also holds the most difficult rolls? Or do you want to play it safe by using weaker gear with lower stats but easier rolls?

The choice is ultimately yours, but we recommend having at least one “easy” option, whether that be your weapon or shield. For example, a shield with easy rolls but low stats will prevent more damage than a higher stat shield with harder rolls that you cannot even land.

Make sure you are fully healed before a fight!

Orcky’s health is directly tied to this game’s energy system. When you take damage in battle, Orcky’s health carries over from fight to fight. He will slowly regenerate over time when he is not battling, so make sure you give him some rest. You can invest some points into health regen so that he recovers faster, and this is a must if you battle often.

Save up your gems for new heroes!

Orcky is basically the game’s “tutorial” hero. Once you have gotten far into the dungeon with him, you will have grasp the inner workings of the game. At this point, you may recruit a new hero if you would like to! Recruiting a new hero costs 350 gems, so start saving now if you want to expand your horizons.

This is not to say that Orcky becomes obsolete, as he is just fine to continue the game with as well. But each hero has their own unique stats and abilities, bringing something new to the table. You never know what you are going to get!
