Some new details have emerged on Modern Combat 5: Blackout, the upcoming new first person shooter developed by Gameloft. The company has really been on a roll this week, as it’s been revealing more and more about its new highly anticipated game.
Following the confirmation that Modern Combat 5: Blackout will not feature any sort of IAP, Gameloft has revealed today some new juicy details on the game’s multiplayer modes. According to the developer, the game will support up to 12 total players, which can take part in four different play modes: Capture The Flag, Team Battle, Free For All and VIP.
While most of the modes have been seen already in several other first person games, the Team Battle mode will sport some interesting features. The new Squad VS. Squad will allow you to create a squad and challenge other squads from around the world in a way that closely resembles clans from other online games. A Squad Chat feature will allow you to communicate with your team without your conversations being public.
Modern Combat 5: Blackout will launch this Summer on the App Store. Gameloft will bring the game to E3 so more details on the game are surely going to come in the very near future.
