Get the present boxes!
Present boxes contain nice surprises like large amounts of ladybugs, butterflies, and stickers. Stickers are the main prize here, but other rewards are pretty awesome too. You can very rarely find present boxes floating around in a level, but you’re mainly going to have to buy them.
You have two options: the Special Box for 150 butterflies, or the Normal Box for 2,000 ladybugs. The Special Box contains bigger amounts of goodies, but it’s OK to stick with the Normal Box especially considering how expensive the Special Box is.
Collect Stickers for permanent score multipliers!
If you’re lucky enough, you’ll find a sticker inside one of your present boxes. You can check your collection in the Sticker Book accessed by the bottom left button on the world map. The Sticker Book is comprised of eight different sticker sets. If you can collect all three stickers from a set, you’ll earn a score multiplier that’s permanent!
The first set is of Ladybug battling the Pharaoh. Once you complete this set, you’ll get a x2 multiplier on your points! Anything you do that earns points on a run will be doubled.
Of course, there are more sticker sets to complete, and the multiplier goes up by one every time you complete another set. Eventually, with enough patience, you can have a whooping x9 multiplier!
Don’t waste present box slots!
Now you understand how important those precious present boxes are! With that said, make sure that you don’t waste any. The present boxes you find on runs are time locked and you have to wait a couple hours before they open. You can hold up to four present boxes at a time, so if you find anymore they’ll essentially be wasted! Make sure to start the timers on your existing present boxes right away.
Upgrade your powerups!
It’s a little buried away, but the powerups have their own section in the shop by scrolling all the way to the bottom. The four powerups you can get on run can be upgraded to last longer if you have the ladybugs required. Each powerup can be upgraded five times, and each upgrade adds three seconds onto the powerup’s duration. As you can imagine this is really helpful so spend your ladybugs here!
Watch out for the flashing cars!
No matter where you are, one constant obstacle you’ll run into are cars. They may be parked or they may be moving. However, sometimes they’ll be parked but their headlights will be flashing. Watch out for these! Once you get closer to them, they’ll turn on and start moving towards you. Get ready to dodge them!
