Metroid Dread: All Aeion Abilities

At the start of her journey on planet ZDR in Metroid Dread, Samus Aran loses all of her abilities, an event that forces her to explore the deepest reaches of the planet to recover them. While doing so, she will also learn some new Aeion abilities that will make her life easier fighting all sorts of enemies, including E.M.M.I., and discovering secrets.

All Aeion Abilities in Metroid Dread

Aeion abilities are three special abilities that Samus can unleash once the Aeion gauge, located on the top left side of the screen, is full. Once depleted, you will need to wait a few seconds for it to replenish normally. All three abilities are required to complete the campaign, so you cannot miss them.

Phantom CloakTurns Samus invisible to avoid detection from E.M.M.I. and get past Sensor-Lock Doors.

Flash ShiftWarps Samus forward up to three times to avoid enemy attacks, close gaps, and get past Shutter Platforms.

Pulse RadarDetects all hidden blocks.
