Merge Magic Cheats: Tips & Guide to Merge More Creatures

In today’s article we are going to share with you all of the Merge Magic tips and cheats that we collected so far and try to help you discover more monsters, flowers and all types of items throughout the game!

If you have played a merge type of game before, then you are probably familiar with how they play out, but if you are totally new, then don’t worry! We have plenty of tips and tricks to help you better understand the game and help you get around much easier, so that you can become a pro yourself!

So let’s not waste another second and dive right into the Merge Magic tips and tricks right here below and learn how to merge the creatures into more and better creatures!

Learn the basics of the game from the very start

You will (and should) learn all the basics of the game so that you will not worry about being super slow, because early quick progress is pretty important I would say, so therefore you should learn them if you don’t already know them!

Let me tell you all the basics that you should keep in mind, right here below:

– Whenever you have at least 3 objects (there can be more than 3) that look the same (so basically 3 of the same object) you should combine them into a better one.

– To combine the objects, you can simply tap, hold, drag and drop them onto the other ones that are the same.

– By combining 3+ objects, you will receive a higher level object of the same category: so if you combine 3 or more flowers, you will get higher tier flowers; if you combine 3 or more buildings, you will get higher tier building; if you combine 3 or more animals, you will get higher tier animal.

– You can combine absolutely everything, as long as they are of the same class (coin, flower, building, animal and so on)

These are the absolute basics of the game. Now there are numerous ways that you can obtain more items, so let’s move on with our game guide and try to teach you all the other game tips and tricks that we got!

Unlock chests over time or while you go offline.

While casually playing the game, you will sometimes collect some chests that you can open over time or by using premium currency (Magic Gems). You can have a maximum of three chests stored at once in your Chest Room (an icon which looks like a chest and has three dots, each symbolizing how many chests you currently have).

You should always have one chest unlocking at all times, because you will definitely collect a ton of chests, and when that happens you want to make sure that you have an empty slot to store it.

Some of the chests take quite a long time to open (can take 8 hours) so I suggest that when you want to go offline, you should always make sure that you open a new chest beforehand!

Play the stages to unlock more stuff for your garden

When you pass through the stages you will be able to merge, discover and purify the tiles in order to reveal new creatures and, eventually, merge the big statues to pass the stages! Once you passed the stage, you will be able to choose what you want to send to your garden.

Usually you can send Coins and sometimes other items for free, but there will often be some good stuff (various Eggs for example) that you will have to pay Magic Gems to send to your Garden.

You should always send to your garden the Eggs, as long as they are not common rarity, because they will bring about tons of unknown creatures. However, keep in mind that the Magic Gems will be limited if you are a f2p player, so do it with a limit, because you don’t want to run out of Magic Gems when something rare will appear!

Merge everything that you can

You should start merging pretty much everything, from the various monsters to plants and coins, as soon as you have 3 of one kind. Once you do this, they will turn into a higher version of that item, so you will basically get something better in return with every merge that you make!

Since you can merge anything in this game, I suggest that you start collecting more than 3 always, because it’s going to give you a better merge bonus. Basically I got the feeling that when you merge more than 3 (more than 5 actually) instead of 3, you will receive 2 of the newly upgraded items, or if you have really a lot of the lower level item, maybe more than 2.

In my opinion you should try to do this, if you have the necessary spaces to move around and “relocate” things about, because it is way more profitable in the end. This will also help you clear up your board much faster if it’s cluttered with tons of items!

Get Energy from the balls

In order to “purify” the grey spaces, you will need to tap on the balls full of energy, because these will slowly add energy to purge the curse. If the curse from a tile is not purged with 1 Energy, then it means that you will have to use more energy to purify it. In the end game that’s pretty much how it is for the most board, so make sure that you have plenty of animals collecting Energy from flowers.

Another benefit from collecting all the Energy might not seem like such a big deal, but when you want to expand quickly you will need a lot of board spaces. Always try to tap on the energy balls whenever you see them, because they will take up a lot of space if you don’t, and that is not really ideal.

Grow your Garden territory

Every single block on your board is marked very similarly to a chess board, with darker and lighter spaces. That is because everything that you have (buildings, plants, eggs and so on) can take up only one block. You cannot have a coin and an egg (for example) on the same tile at once, so they can only take up 1 space.

If you want to have more items on your board, that is going to require you to expand! In order to expand your board, you will need to merge monsters, as many as possible. This is not super easy to do, because as you well know you need 3 creatures of a kind in order to make 1 creature of a higher rank.

To expand the board you will need “Magic Power” which you can obtain by having more monsters. The total Magic Power that you have is the total of power from all the monsters that you have (that’s why it is important to have a ton of creatures).

Once you gathered enough Magic Power, you will be able to break the binding spell that keeps your garden from expanding, and thus you will increase the number of tiles you have on your board.

Build a ton of Houses

Your creatures can only work so much before needing some well deserved rest! Just like us humans, your creatures will work to bring your Energy or build, which is going to exhaust them eventually!

The higher level your creatures are, the more they can do before resting, but eventually they WILL rest! All the critters that are in the same house will sleep one after the other, in order (so it goes like this: Monster 1 rests, then Monster 2 and so on).

You should head on to the Shop and build more Tree Houses, because the more Tree Houses you have, the more creatures can rest at the same time and start over their work cycle faster. When you upgrade your Tree Houses, your creatures will rest much quicker.

Keep your Garden organized

One tip that I found extremely useful is to always keep your Garden tidy. This means that you should always make sure that you group up the eggs, have all the buildings in the same location, try to tap on the coins to collect them and empty up board slots and so on.

By keeping your board tidy and organized it’s much easier to see what is the next item that you need to make an upgrade and you will have empty slots most of the time.

A few other Merge Magic tips and tricks:

– You should be looking around the map for “suspicious” looking objects and tap on them – they might reveal a secret level! The secret levels can only appear up to the latest level that you played, so don’t try looking ahead because you won’t find any!

– Replay the old levels! Maybe you found a certain level fun and entertaining, or maybe you just want some extra rewards? (yep, extra rewards) Just play the levels again and you will get them!

– Double tap on a certain item if you want a creature to harvest from that one in particular! You can also drag & drop the creature to do the same.

– You ca de-curse a land by merging with the objects that are on it! So you don’t need to use Energy to lift the curse from those objects if you have merged them! It will automatically be done for free!

– Want more energy? Merge the energy balls! They will create a bigger energy ball and that will give you some extra power!
