Players will battle through an expansive single-player campaign with an all new original story penned by Marvel writer Alex Irvine. As they battle through the story, players will collect battle cards of iconic heroes like Captain America, Black Panther, Black Widow, Starlord, Spider Gwen, and more!

Marvel Battle Lines lets players play how they want. You can stick to the single-player mode and experience the original story, or you can take on the world in competitive PvP. Either way you pick, you’ll earn new cards so you can even stick to one mode exclusively if that’s how you want. The choice is yours!

While details are scarce at the moment, the game will play out like a simple yet complex card battling game. You’ll earn new hero cards as you play through the campaign, so you can build new deck and combos quickly. There will even be throwbacks to old Marvel story lines where you earn specific cards.

With Nexon in charge of the game’s development, you can expect this game to be a full-fledged package. They’re also working closely with Marvel’s original writers, so you can be sure that the experience will be completely authentic.

Marvel Battle Lines is set to release later this year as a free-to-download game on the iOS App Store and Google Play Store. Stay tuned for more news!
