Mario Kart Tour brings some fantastic items for New Year and we get a sneaky peek at what is arriving in January 2022. According to Mario Kart Tour News on Twitter we will see some cute drivers in the pipe, and other shiny items to win! The new tour runs until the 12th of January 2022. Find out more below.

Running between 1st and the 12th of January 2022, this new tour includes the usual Coins Aplenty event almost every day, and the chance to earn Rubies and win Baby Peach in Tour Gifts. As a Gold Pass player you also get to unlock the Gold New Year’s Kite, and the Gold Glider.
For a limited time you can spend your Rubies in the spotlight pipe and get the chance to win Meowser with his special skill Coin Box, and the Tiger Bruiser kart! Cat Peach with her skill Super Bell is also available to win, if you are lucky. Each high-end spotlight item has a 1% chance of being won. This includes Meowser, Cat Peach, Tiger Bruiser kart, Cat Cruiser kart, Calico Parafoil glider, and Toe-Bean Balloons glider. The high-end items will have a 0.058% chance of winning in the pipe. These include Cat Rosalina, Cat Toad, and Dixie Kong, among many more! More cat-themed items will be featured in the pipe as high-end pulls at a 0.04% chance, so save up your Rubies!
If you want to celebrate the new year in style there is a brand new 2022 glider to purchase in the store for a few dollars.
