LoL: Wild Rift – What’s New in Patch 4.4a

The widely popular League of Legends mobile game Wild Rift is getting a new patch on Nov. 17. More than just bug fixes and visual polish, Patch 4.4a will introduce several exciting game changes. Let’s see what goodies to expect!

Updated champions

One of the most important updates to LoL: Wild Rift includes updates to existing champions. The following changes will be introduced to ensure better in-game balance.


  • Timewinder damage increased to 70/90/110/130 for outgoing and 50/85/120/155 for returning
  • Chronobreak cooldown decreased to 70/55/40s


  • Armor increased to 34
  • Assault and Battery ability cooldowns decreased to 70/60/50s


  • Health increased to 570
  • Conflagration ability power increased to 50%
  • Pyroclasm ability power increased to 30%


  • Zephyr ability bonus speed reduced to 10/15/20/25%
  • Eye of the Storm ability power reduced to 45%


  • Burnout DPS increased to 35/50/65/80, and bonus damage increased to 30%
  • Burnout total and bonus damages increased to 245/350/455/560 and 210%
  • Dragon’s Descent bonus health increased to 230/315/400


  • Prowling Projectile ability power decreased to 20%
  • Prowling Projectile ability power while attached decreased to 30%
  • Final Chapter ability power decreased to 15%


  • Deadly Venom ability power decreased to 2.5%
  • Contaminate bonus damage and ability power decreased to 33% and 20%
  • Contaminate damage ratio decreased to 80%
  • Spray and Pray ballistic speed increased to 6,000


  • Jaws of The Beast max health damage increased to 7/8/9/10%
  • Infinite Duress cooldowns decreased to 70/60/50


  • Deathbringer Stance max health damage range increased to 5–15%
  • The Darkin Blade damage and attack damage increased to 15/45/75/105 and 70/75/80/85%


  • Wind Wall cooldowns reduced to 18/18/18/18s


  • Duelist’s Dance Vital max health damage increased to 3.5%
  • Grand Challenge Vital max health damage increased to 14%


  • Base and per-level attack damages increased to 54 and 4
  • Missile Barrage ability attack damage increased to 25/50/75%
  • Missile Barrage Big One attack damage increased to 50/100/150%

New skins

Patch 4.4a for LoL: Wild Rift includes four new Heartsteel skins for Ezreal, Kayn, Sett, and Yone. All Heartsteel skins are available since Sep. 17.

Brand new game mode

The new patch comes with an exciting game mode—Arena. This mode will allow you to enter 2v2v2v2 battles with others. Here are the Arena rules in a nutshell:

  • Players participate with solo or duo setups
  • Teams of two fight against each other
  • Each duel takes place in a separate map arena
  • Total health decreases with every round
  • Various augments are available per game
  • Arena winners are declared by the “last team standing” principle

Item tweaks

Runaan’s Hurricane

  • Wind’s Favor ability power and attack damage reduced to 30 and 15

Mejai’s Soulstealer

  • Item cost increased to 1,800 G
  • Max health decreased to 70
  • Ability power decreased to 25

Crown of the Shattered Queen

  • Ability power reduced to 60
  • Ability haste increased to 20
  • Max health reduced to 0
  • Incoming damage reduction duration reduced to 1s
  • Poise cooldown reduced to 4s

The build path for Crown of the Shattered Queen has also been updated to Lost Chapter—Fiendish Codex—Ring of Revelation (costs: 900, 1,000, and 400 G, respectively, plus 700 G to wrap it up).
