Last Pirate: Island Survival is a very in-depth survival game, so get ready to learn! Let’s get started with our Last Pirate: Island Survival cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!

Find your wrecked ship!

Your first course of action is to find the remains of your wrecked ship. Every time you start a new game, your starting location is randomized every time. Walk around the perimeter of the island until you find the wrecked ship. This is important because you can actually repair the ship to use as a shelter.

Level up the wrecked ship!

Once you find it and repair it to the first level, you can spend even more resources to upgrade it to level 2. The level 2 ship has a platform on top where you can build stuff, and it also comes with a furnace built in for smelting. You should do this because it is actually more resource efficient to build the level 2 ship rather than building the furnace directly. It also increases the amount of space in the storage box as well.

Tool basics!

The hatchet is used for chopping down trees, while the pickaxe is used for mining stone and iron. Try to upgrade all the way to the third tier of tool, as they come with the Accelerated Mining trait, which increases the amount of resources you get per swing. The final tier of tools actually cost less wood than the enhanced line, the second tier. You need iron, but that should not be a problem.

Collect lots of sugarcane!

Be sure to grab all the sugarcane you see. They look like green bamboo stalks! Sugarcane is very important later on. You can make bandages, potions, cloth, weapons, and more. A lot of advanced recipes require cloth, and you will need a loom to turn the sugarcane into cloth first.

Take down enemies!

Once you have crafted yourself a good weapon, you can start hunting the local wildlife and monsters. You will probably need to hunt wildlife at some point because they are a good source of food and other materials, but be warned that they pack a punch. Boars and bears can deal quite a lot of damage if you are unprepared, so be careful! Every time you kill a monster or animal, you will earn coins. You can spend these premium coins on helpful stuff like instant health recovery, additional slots, and more!

Stay near the boat during night!

Once you repair the wrecked ship and start using it as shelter, skeletons will arise at night and attempt to destroy it. Once the sun goes down, it is best to stay near your ship and defend it. If the ship loses all of its durability it will be destroyed and you will have to repair it all over again!

Be sure to craft the Repair Hammer. With this in hand, you can restore durability to your ship so as long as you have wood in your inventory.
