Injustice App Gets Multiplayer, New Heroes

The Injustice: Gods Among Us game received an update last week. The app, now in it’s 2.0 edition, received multiplayer battles. The multiplayer system brings a bunch of new features to the game. First of all, there is an adjustment to make all characters equal, so no one character gives a player the edge. Also new to the multiplayer is gear cards. Similar to the single player support cards, you can equip gear cards to your characters to give them small boosts. You earn gear cards while playing online as rewards for winning match ups. Gear cards can also be taken apart and put together to create new ones or power up existing ones. This allows for further customizations for your team.

Also included in the 2.0 update is a small roster of new characters. This is list is:

  • Animated Harley Quinn
  • Batman Returns Catwoman
  • Arrow Green Arrow
  • New 52 Nightwing
  • Green Lantern Sinestro
  • Krypto Lex Luther
  • Teen Titans Cyborg
  • Shazam

While the new Cyborg wasn’t in the text description, he is the store available for purchase. Shazam, however, is nowhere to be found in the store. With the new tier of battles, he could be an unlocakable character. The update also made the graphics a little smoother, proving that the 2.0 update to be very successful.
