Stake Out in Dead By Daylight Mobile is a teachable survivor perk from Detective Tapp. His other perks include Detective’s Hunch and Tenacity. Survivor Detective Tapp is part of the Saw Chapter, along with The Pig (Amanda), a purchasable set of premium characters. Premium sets like this are only available when bought with the in-game currency Auric Cells.
Detective Tapp’s perks are all about recovering quickly and achieving the objective with skill and knowledge. Detective’s Hunch allows the survivor to see the auras of unopened chests and uncleansed totems after a generator has been completed, and with Tenacity, the survivor can crawl while recovering quickly from a dying state. Stake Out requires the survivor to hide within the killer’s terror radius without being detected in order to collect Tokens to be used later. Find out more below!
How to Use Stake Out in Dead By Daylight Mobile
While the survivor using Stake Out is hiding within the Killer’s terror radius, they gain one Token for every 15 seconds that they remain undetected. Up to 4 Tokens can be saved at a time. Each of these Tokens are then consumed when the survivor performs a Good Skill Check, transforming that Good Skill Check into a Great Skill Check.
The benefit of Stake Out can be seen while repairing a generator or while healing a teammate, or while using the Pig’s Jigsaw Box, or Cenobite’s Lament Configuration box. These Great Skill Checks offer an extra 1% progression bonus during healing or generator repair, along with the slight boost in Bloodpoints from earning a Great Skill Check.
This perk is particularly useful when the killer has a perk or add on that allows them to fake or extend their terror radius, as it allows the survivor to know when they are in the killer’s actual terror radius. Stake Out does not work when the survivor is in a dying state, nor when the survivor is affected by Oblivious.
