Upgrading heroes in Avatar Generations will increase the character’s HP, ATK and DEF attributes in exchange for Experience Scrolls, one of the game’s currency types that can be obtained by completing tasks.

So to upgrade a hero in Avatar Generations, all you have to do is go to the game’s heroes menu from the main menu page and choose the hero you want to upgrade. After choosing the hero, spend resources on them and level them up to increase their attributes.

Once you hit level 10, the hero will reach their maximum level. However, you can still increase the hero’s level by using Ascension. This is a procedure that requires special items and currency but will increase the hero’s maximum level and allow you to increase their overall stats further.
