Are you enjoying Nikke but having issues winning battles and can’t seem to boost your power level? We’ve got to protect our girls from the damage of the Raptures, there’s only so many spare bodies they can use! This is how to upgrade equipment in Goddess of Victory: Nikke.

If so, your issue is likely that you’ve neglected to boost the power of the equipment attached to your Nikkes. There are a lot of components to level, so it’s quite easy to forget about. Equipment is very important though both to boost and to replace when you get better ones.

Where to Find Equipment in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE

Equipment is one of the easiest things to level because you don’t need a rare currency to do it. The gear is boosted using a combination of your old weak equipment and credits, which are always being given out.

The first thing you’re going to want to do is make sure that the Nikke has some equipment on them, this can be another reason why your level is low.

• Tap the icon at the bottom of the screen that look like a group of figures that says Nikke. This is where you can view your roster of characters. Pick the one you want to edit to open their profile. In the bottom right corner, you will set a set that looks like a square with smaller squares inside. This is where the equipment goes.

• Click Quick Equip to automatically pick the best gear for the Nikke.

Where to Level Equipment in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE

If you’re a new player, don’t waste too much currency on leveling the weak equipment since you’ll get the better ones quickly. For the first few chapters, you can get away with the basics.

• To level equipment, click on one of the parts and then the tab that says Level Upgrade.
• Pick Auto Select to optimize your currency for the upgrade.

If you get a message that you’re using excess experience points, you can put some of the equipment back by clicking that circle on it and choose lower-value things to even it out. You’ll get refunded experience points though if you’re over the need, so it’s not a big deal either way.

Now that you know how to upgrade equipment, there’s no Rapture you won’t be able to fight!
