Transferring prisoners to Labor Camp in Contraband Police

When you’re performing a vehicle and passenger check, you may come across hidden contraband. The contraband can be hidden in various parts of the vehicle, so you’ll have to comb it over with a close eye.

After you’ve collected as much contraband as you can find, you must arrest the person, which temporarily places them in your station’s holding cell. When you first start the game, your holding cell can hold up to three prisoners.

The next day, the game will teach you about transporting prisoners to the nearby Labor Camp. Every prisoner you turn over to the Labor Camp rewards you with money, so you’ll want to do this as your prison reaches it maximum capacity.

To transfer a prisoner, go to your holding cell and interact with a prisoner, then select the transfer command to put them in your police transport van. Hop into your van, then drive down to the Labor Camp.

Talk to the NPC in charge when you reach the command. You’ll see an option to transfer all prisoners, so go ahead and select that. The prisoners in your van will automatically be transferred, and you’ll be paid for each individual prisoner.

Now that your prison and van are empty, you can drive back to your post and resume your day as normal, or stop by the other locations on the map.

An important thing to keep in mind is that prisoners have a chance to break out of your holding cell overnight. You can hire a security guard to reduce the chances of a breakout happening. This is all the more reason to transfer your prisoners as soon as you can.
