If you’re playing Killer Frequency, you might be tempted to be the hero of the hour and save everybody from the Whistling Man. Well, almost everybody—you can’t really save the poor sheriff—but everyone else can escape their horrible deaths at the hands of this serial killer with your assistance, including Maurice.

How to Save Maurice in Killer Frequency
Getting the fax with the layout of the office where Maurice is hiding will be crucial for helping him. When the Whistling Man moves from the staircase and gets to the Office Room in search of his victim, you will need to distract him. Maurice is hiding in the Boardroom, and the Whistling Man is technically blocking his path to safety.
Have Peggy dial the Editor’s Office (use extension 03) and instruct Maurice to move to the kitchen. However, this is not the end. You have to come up with a plan to give Maurice enough time to unblock the staircase and escape. The best option is to lock the killer in a room, and the perfect location to trap the Whistling Man is the Secret Archive as the only room that can’t unlock from the inside. On the other hand, you can’t call the archive as there are no phones there, but you can use a radio, so make sure to select that option when prompted.
Remind Maurice to turn the volume down before he tries to turn the radio on (it’s a timed option, so be quick) and give him the frequency again. Have Peggy call the Boardroom this time (extension 04) and be adamant about it. You can choose impersonation as your plan. When Maurice calls again, tell him to hide in a cabinet and resist choosing any options in the timed menu that pops up next because you must stay quiet at this point.
Soon, you will hear that Maurice managed to lock the Whistling Man in the archives, and you’ll be able to move on with your radio show.
