How to Get Rid of Corpses in Project Zomboid
Unfortunately, there is no special function using which the corpses would disappear on their own, but there are ways to remove them.
The corpses can be burned. To do this, you need to have a lighter and a can of gasoline. To perform the action itself, the lighter must be equipped in the main hand, and the canister in the additional, that is your second hand. Thus, you kindle fire and push all the corpses into it. After the corpses are burned, they leave behind soot that can be very easily removed with a sledgehammer.
In order not to carry each corpse separately, we advise you to use a special cart that is capable of transporting a large number of items at the same time. You can also burn the corpses separately. To do this, select a canister of gasoline in your inventory, click on the corpse and select “Burn corpse” in the mini-menu.
Why Remove Corpses in Project Zomboid
It is very important to remove the corpses, as flies will collect over the corpses in the future and the poison from the bodies of zombies can affect your character and he can get sick.
