Recruiting Panette in Fire Emblem Engage

Panette is one of the two retainers to the crown princess of Solm, Timerra. Alear and their party will find Timerra, Merrin, and Panette once Fogado takes you to search for them.

Once Timerra realizes Alear is the Divine Dragon, she joins his cause to unite the Emblem Rings against the Fell Dragon.

Timerra’s two retainers, Panette and Merrin, are tasked with keeping a close eye on her. As such, Panette will join your ranks automatically during Chapter 13: Heroes of the Oasis, just like Fogado’s retainers, Pandreo and Bunet.

No actions are required of you, as this all happens as a part of the main storyline. This means that you cannot miss Timerra, Merrin, or Panette, so don’t worry about that.

Panette is a royal knight, though she joins your party as the Berserker class with the Backup battle style. Although Panette is very polite and cordial, she can become quite defensive if need be. She’s also interested in quirky things like ghosts and the supernatural, if you couldn’t tell from her interesting makeup.

As a Berserker, Panette carries a mean axe and won’t hesitate to chop foes down. Her personal skill, Blood Fury, grants her Crit+10 if she’s not as maximum HP after a battle. This makes her quite scary after she’s been through a few skirmishes.

To get the most out of her personal skill, try not to heal up to maximum HP. That way, Blood Fury will be active all the time, essentially giving her passive crit boost.
