The game has showcased a couple of long-standing mechanics in the franchise and like in every other Pokémon game, there are many different varieties of food that you can make.
Also, the previous rules of breeding your Pokémon still apply in Scarlet and Violet. And in order to speed up the process, you’ll need to make a sandwich with the Egg Power trait. This doesn’t only lets you find more eggs but it’ll also increase the rate at which eggs hatch. So in this article, we’re guiding you on how to make Egg Power Sandwich in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
How to Make Egg Power Sandwich in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Unlike many other traits in the game, the Egg Power trait is surprisingly common amongst the games’ premade sandwiches that are available to you. Just as how the Sweet Jambon-Beurre (#3) and Jam Sandwich (#12) give Egg Power. Either of the options works it all comes down to the ingredients you prefer to use.
However, if these options aren’t available to you, you might need to unlock them. So when you defeat Gym Leaders, an NPC in Every Wich Way sandwich shops will show you different sandwich recipes. As long as you continue checking with the NPC, you should find at least one sandwich with Egg Power when you’re ready to breed your Pokémon.
And if you don’t have the ingredients, there are shops around Mesagoza that’ll sell you just about everything you need. There are also shops like The Artisan Bakery, Deli Cioso, and Sure Cans which are all located near the Western Pokémon Center that will also provide a comprehensive list of ingredients.
If the whole process seems a bit too strenuous for you and you still lack the ability to get Egg Power, you can simply buy a premade food with the perk enabled. And the easiest spot to visit is near the Western Pokémon Center in Mesagoza. There you’ll find the Salisbury Steak with Fried Fixings that’s sold by Barato for a mere 1,900 Pokedollars and has Egg Power listed as its first Meal Power.
It’s also worth noting that in the process of making a sandwich, you can still get Egg Power by going into Creative Mode and crafting a sandwich with the below ingredients:
- Cream Cheese
- Olive Oil
- Whipped Cream
The abovementioned ingredients also activate other perks as well. And that’s all we have for you on how to make Egg Power in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Happy Gaming!
