Gliding 250 Meters Using the Grapple Glider in Fortnite

The Grapple Glider is a great bit of kit to keep in your inventory for when you need to get to an enemy quickly, or to escape a dangerous situation. It is a ranged consumable weapon, meaning it has limited uses, and is used by aiming at an object and then deploying a glider.

Players can pull themselves up buildings, but we warned- there is the risk of fall damage if you do not deploy the glider or grapple again in time. Players can use the Grapple Glider 10 times before it is discarded.

To glide 250 meters or more you must be high enough off the ground to be able to deploy the glider and glide for a while. We recommend this trick: travel up one of the large balloons such as the one at Chrome Crossroads, and land on the balloon top. From here, aim the Grapple Glider at the balloon surface to grapple a very short distance and glide away from the balloon.
