This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information

Emolga is not a new Pokémon in Pokémon and has actually been around for some time. The Pokémon was introduced during the Unova Week celebration as a reward for players that completed 24 out of the 32 global challenges of Pokémon Go Fest in 2020.

Emolga returns as an increased spawn during the Unova Celebration Challenge in 2021, but in order to encounter it, there’s a specific way to do that. In this article, we’ll be guiding you on how to get Emolga in Pokémon Go.

How Do You Get Emolga in Pokémon Go?

Emolga-TTP

There’s only one way for Emolga to show up during the Unova Celebration Challenge and that is by hatching it from a five-kilometer egg. These eggs will have to be the ones you acquire from PokeStops during the event itself. You can collect them from any PokeStop or Gym disc you spin and place them into an incubator.

After walking five-kilometers or the required kilometers for it to hatch, Emolga is likely to spawn for this drop. Although it’s not guaranteed that you’ll get Emolga, there’s a high chance you’ll find it inside.

Emolga is a standalone Pokémon, meaning it cannot evolve into any other Pokémon. Also, it’s a good addition to add to your collection as well. Being an Electric and Flying-type Pokémon, Emolga is weak to both ice and Rock-type attacks, but it resists Fighting, Flying, Ground, Bug, Grass, and even Steel-type moves.
