Winterfest is drawing to a close, and it is almost time to put the tree away and tidy up the decorations. By now, we should have visited the Cozy Lodge and received all 14 of our gifts from Fresh Aura, Sgt. Winter, Gumbo, and Fishstick, but is there more to open? Players have been left wondering if there is another, secret 15th present to open due to the notification on the left as you enter the lodge. Find out below what this could mean.
The Secret Present in Fortnite Chapter 3 Winterfest
The Winterfest celebrations are due to end on January 6, 2022, and there is downtime planned for then, but could this mean Epic is preparing a 15th secret special gift?
On December 29, they tweeted: “Already opened all your presents but still see one extra present left to open? Sit tight, we’re working on that.” Does this mean they are preparing something for us?
Some players are guessing that this means we will receive an extra gift, and perhaps it is planned to make up for the unexpected log-in issues we faced last week. There is no official confirmation on any of this yet, so we are left to speculate, but we hope we may have one little gift hidden in the bottom of our stockings before this festive season is complete.
After the great range of goodies we received during the Winterfest event, including the snowboard and Ffrosty back-bling for completing the challenges, what could the surprise gift be? It is assumed to be something pretty special, as there is no chance Fortnite would end this amazing time with just an emote or spray… Right? Perhaps a new style for Krisabelle, or maybe some V Bucks? Who knows? Only time will tell!
