Once you’ve progressed far enough in the item chain, you’ll unlock steel gear in The Survival Game on Roblox. Steel is a fusion of iron and coal ore, and it’s a very important material, as you’ll need it in a variety of crafting recipes and buildings.

As you can probably guess, you’re going to need lots of steel in order to make all the crucial gear, so today, we’ll show you how to get steel fast in Roblox The Survival Game.

Fast way to get lots of steel in Roblox The Survival Game

Before you start, we highly recommend doing this on a private server of The Survival Game. It’s completely free to make your own private server, so don’t worry about having to pay.

The reason for this is that you’re going to need lots and lots of iron ore to smelt steel, and it’s quite the challenge to get that much on a public server. Iron ore is one of the rarer minerals, and players will usually build bases around their limited spawn points and hog it all to themselves.

Before you can smelt Steel Bars, you’ll need to make your way up to the Steel Smelter. You must go through both the Copper Smithy and the Iron Forge to be able to make the Steel Smelter.

Once you’re that far on the production tree, it’s time to harvest the raw minerals. A single steel bar requires 10 iron ore and 5 coal ore, so you need to secure a good place to harvest these two minerals.

The best place to do this is at the statue valley iron caves. Sail towards the center of the map, and you should see a valley that has two giant statues on the front. In between the valley edges is a small cave that leads to five iron ore nodes, and two coal nodes.

There’s a small field nearby, so we recommend building a small base. Once you got your Steel Smelter down and a Bronze Pickaxe or better, it’s time to head into the caves.

Mine the two coal ore nodes, then follow the tunnel to the right. You’ll come across a small pond, so cross to find a large boulder. It’ll take some time to break through the boulder if you’re alone, but your patience is rewarded with five iron ore nodes.

Coal ore nodes respawn within a minute or so, but iron ore nodes take about two to three minutes to respawn. Bring some food with you, and just wait in the room with the five iron ore nodes until they come back.

Once you’re happy with the amount of iron and coal, head back out to your base and start smelting. This is the quickest method we’ve found that lets you make lots of steel fast.
