Pikmin Bloom has 7 main colors of Pikmin: Red, Blue, Yellow, Purple, White, Pink, and Grey that can also have decor added once they have 4 Friendship Hearts. This makes a grand total of 154 varieties of Pikmin, not including all the different letters that can be added onto the Roadside Decor Pikmin. Each Pikmin main color can be accessed as you progress in level, starting with your very first Pikmin which comes in the color red. As you level up, you get to collect Blue, Yellow, Purple, White, Pink, and Grey Pikmin too.
The Pink and Grey Pikmin actually have different names due to the way they look: the Grey Pikmin are named Rock Pikmin as they look like little grey rock creatures, while the Pink Pikmin are named Winged Pikmin because of the tiny wings on their backs. Find out more about the Pink Winged Pikmin below.
How to Obtain Pink Pikmin
Winged Pikmin are pink with white wings and big blue eyes. They are the final Pikmin to unlock in Pikmin Bloom once you have reached level 19 (you can reach level 19 after walking 99,000 steps and planting 100 Flowers). You receive a Pink Winged Pikmin Seedling which can be grown by walking 5,000 steps. Their Seedlings take the strength of 5 Pikmin to carry back from Expedition.
These Pikmin are fast but weak, so they can go and quickly fetch a Seedling on Expedition as long as they are the only ones on the journey.
