How to get Free Gems

Gems are the premium currency of Hexapolis, and they’re mainly used for convenience. You can spend them to open chests instantly, as well as purchase chests, keys, and joker cards from the shop. Naturally, you’re going to want a lot of gems, so we’ll show you all the ways you can get gems without paying real money.

First off is the Daily Rewards. Every day, you’ll be rewarded with some goodies for simply opening the game, with the rewards getting better each day. On day 3, you’ll earn a nice 50 gems for your dedication. The Daily Rewards reset every week, so make sure to check in at least once a day!

The second source of gems is the Battle Pass seasons. Each season lasts only a couple of weeks, so make sure to complete Battle Pass objectives to earn experience and level up your Battle Pass rank. There are certain ranks that reward you with gems—rank 12 of this current season, for example, nets you 100 gems.

The third source of gems is main story progression. That’s right, you can earn gems for simply playing through the game! Each chapter is divided into several levels, and whenever you complete a level you’ll be able to claim rewards. Some levels reward you with gems!

The final source of gems comes from advertisement offers. Occasionally you’ll see a bubble floating around on the main menu, and if you tap it you’ll be prompted to watch an ad for 2,000 gold, 5 gems, and 3 hero scrolls. You can watch an ad once every hour.

At the very bottom of the shop, you can purchase gems with real money. There is an “earn free gems” button as well, and this will take you to an offer wall where you must perform different advertisement tasks like signing up for a different game. This should be your last resort, as these tend to be unreliable most of the time. Your mileage may vary, though.
