As agreed by many, the best and worst part about League of Legends is its wide assortment of available champions. With all the exciting characters, playing this MOBA never gets boring. But on the other side, unlocking new champions can be a dealbreaker for many players. You don’t have access to all champions right away, and you have to go through a gruesome grind to unlock each of them, one by one. And the same goes for its mobile counterpart, Wild Rift. Obtain free champions

When you first start playing League of Legends: Wild Rift, you can unlock 11 champions as you level up from 1 to 10. The first level unlocks two characters, Garen and Jinx. You can get the following champions just by playing and increasing your levels in Wild Rift:

Level 1: Garen and Jinx
Level 2: Ahri
Level 3: Blitzcrank
Level 4: Master Yi
Level 5: Ashe
Level 6: Annie
Level 7: Vi
Level 8: Nasus
Level 9: Lux
Level 10: Janna

However, once you have reached level 10, the process of unlocking new champions becomes tedious. It is almost an endless grind to unlock all champions as a free-to-play player.

Use Blue Motes

Once you have ground through the beginning level, the best way to unlock new champions is by using blue motes, one of the in-game currencies of League of Legends: Wild Rift. This currency can be obtained by simply playing the game, completing daily missions, doing tutorials, participating in event challenges, and more. You will have to rinse and repeat to get enough blue motes to unlock a champion, though.

Pay for champions

With over 100 unique champions, many players lack the patience to unlock all of them just by playing games. However, you always have the option to spend money and obtain Wild Cores, the premium currency of Wild Rift and a main earning source for Riot Games. You can use Wild Cores to unlock champions and, if you want, their unique skins too.
