Activision’s new Warzone 2.0 is finally out but it isn’t without its problems as players have reported being kicked out of their friend list in both MW2 and Warzone 2. This does not allow players to create a Warzone 2 party with friends.
And like many other bugs and issues with recent Call of Duty games, the Friend List issue appears to have come from an update. And since Warzone 2.0 has a primary focus of letting players enjoy the game with friends, there’s a fix to this problem. How to Fix Friends List Not Working in Warzone 2.0
Currently, there is no official fix for this problem and players will have to use other methods to fix the issue themselves pending when the game’s developers fix it. So if you’re unable to see your friends list through the Social Tab in Warzone 2.0, one of the best ways to invite your friends is through the Channels tab in the menu.
If you’re on the main menu screen, pull up the menu and head to the second tab which has a headset symbol. Under this tab, you can either go into your party channel or create a new one and you’ll have access to your friends list from there.
In addition to the above method, players who are facing the social bug can also create a voice channel and invite their friends through that menu which is another method of fixing the issue.
So when inviting people using the Social Tab, you only have access to players that are already on your platform or your Activision friend list. If you’re yet to add them, you can sign into your Call of Duty account from the official website and search for their name and add them up.
However, this is a rather long process but it does work and will allow you to play with your friends until the developers fix the friends list issue from their end.
